Cooking up a storm
Spending Saturday indoors, cooking veggie-bean soup, applesauce, applesauce-oatmeal cake, and a pizza for good measure. Whew!

Ice cream social
Amid rows of tomatoes and cukes ripe for the picking, the farm holds an ice cream social and a hands-on demo making strawberry-basil ice cream (with some freshly harvested honey, too!).

Carrots and more
New bike racks to welcome visitors, cukes and peppers blossoming, and fat carrots are ready for the picking at the farm. The perfect excuse to make roasted carrot and red lentil ragout.

Seedstock!
Farm friends pitch in to raise funds for Growing Chefs and the Open Space Institute at Seedstock at Eagle Street Rooftop Farm. Cold beers, cool rooftop breezes, good food and great music for a Saturday night.

Back to the farm
A few weeks go by, and Rooftop Farm explodes into a bounty of green goodness. Queen bees settle into colonies, flowers blossom, and the kale is ready to be picked. As always, friends new and old welcome.
